The language of friendship is not words but meanings.

A little over a year ago, we moved home, to Texas.
We greeted our family and friends with hugs and the chatter of life that fills space and time together.
As we prepare for Boston, we are slowly saying our goodbyes. One-by-one. Friend-by-friend.
It is painful.
It is beautiful.
It is life together.
Last night, Josh and Millie and I got together with Whitney. She is originally a friend through marriage (that is yet another benefit of marriage, gaining new and wonderful friends) but truly a friend. Our evening together flew past as we talked and laughed and ate. Before I knew it, we were sitting outside in the stillness of night, lingering over conversation, playing with Millie and not wanting the night to end. It was a beautiful evening.

Cheers to Whit for remembering to take pictures.

Nice pictures. I don't like good byes. At.all.
I do like chocolate cake and delicious coffee.
And Millie.
And you and J.
You three are awesome. I'm so glad we got to hang out (& that I got to meet adorable Millie!). And it's not goodbye...it's an enthusiastic "see you later." :)
I agree with your mom! I have a friend moving to the west coast. I am not too happy about it. It's one of those time where I'm very thankful for technology!
Blessings!
Deborah
